The rescheduled 2020 Cycling Australia Masters Road National Championships has been confirmed, with Australia’s best masters cyclists now set to battle for the coveted green and gold national champion jerseys on the Gold Coast from 9-12 December, 2020.
The Championships will begin on Wednesday 9 December with a 20-kilometre time trial in the Tallebudgera Valley, followed by the criterium on the purpose built course at Runaway Bay (Luke Harrop Circuit) on Thursday.
The Road Races will be hosted in Guanaba on Friday and Saturday with the high-octane eight kilometre road race circuit featuring short laps and stabby hill climbs.
The Masters Championships attracts the second largest field of all Cycling Australia National Championship events behind January’s Federation University RoadNats.
“We extend our genuine appreciation to the Gold Coast for hosting the Championships,” said Cycling Australia CEO Steve Drake. “We look forward to an exciting three days of racing in the time trial, road race and criterium events.”
